The addition of an optional Sod Point ( accessory part # GW-1307 ) and/or Tiller Frame Weights (accessory part # OEM-290-265) can help to improve the performance of an FRT tiller under these circumstances.

The Sod Point attachment helps the tiller create rear drag and dig into hard soil and the additional weight provided by the frame weights increases the tools weight at the tine area to also assist in this type of soil.
